ArmorShell®: High Quality, Customizable, All-Weather Membranes

Cooley’s ArmorShell is a fire-resistant PVC membrane for small bladder applications made of open base fabrics. With polymer-to-polymer bonding and mechanical adhesion, ArmorShell provides low temperature flexibility; and unlike competitive products that demonstrate significant plasticizer migration, ArmorShell has no chemical adhesives to wear off adverse temperature and weather conditions. The highly versatile membrane is both antifungal and antibacterial, and is ideal for various critical applications in the healthcare and medical fields.

ArmorShell delivers strike-through adhesion and provides improved abrasion resistance compared to laminate or knife-over-roll coated goods. Because Cooley formulates its own PVC (and does not use pre-made films), multiple fabric options can be customized to fit most any set of project specifications.
