  • Bob joined Cooley Group in 1947 following his tours of duty with the U.S. Navy, including landing on Omaha Beach during the invasion of Normandy and subsequently performing a tour of duty in the Pacific Theatre. Bob was named President in 1960 and is currently Chairman of Cooley, Incorporated and Cooley Group Holdings, Inc. Bob has dedicated his career to using chemistry to develop innovative solutions for his customers. He holds four U.S. patents and a bachelor’s degree from Brown University.
  • Daniel Dwight
  • President & Chief Executive Officer
  • An international executive with significant experience leading high-tech growth companies, Dan was appointed President and CEO of The Cooley Group in March 2011. He is also a Director at Satcon Technology, a NASDAQ-listed renewable energy company. Prior to joining Cooley, Dan was a Partner and Cleantech & Renewable Energy Segment Leader for Tatum, President and CEO of Kronos Advanced Technologies, and a 17-year executive with GE in the Americas, Asia and Europe. He holds a bachelor’s degree from The University of Vermont and a Masters in Business Administration from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

  • Ron brings over twenty-five years of global financial management experience in diverse environments including the manufacturing, government and technology sectors. He has held various executive-level financial positions at Ampergen, Nancy Sales Company (Nanco) and PerkinElmer, Inc., where he managed a finance staff of more than 100 employees in seventeen countries. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Masters in Business Administration from Northeastern University.

  • David is a 30-year veteran of the textile and composite manufacturing industries. David leads Cooley’s Global Supply Chain Management, Operations and Quality functions. Prior to joining Cooley in 2006, he served in executive roles for International Paper, Burlington Industries and Quaker Fabric Corporation. A member of the Technical Advisory Board for the National Textile Center, David holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Textile Engineering, and a Ph.D. in Engineering Management.
  • Stephen Siener
  • Vice President & General Manager, International Business Development, Engineered Membranes
  • With more than a 30-year history with the Company, Steve has an intimate knowledge about the operations, products, innovations, sales and executions of the Cooley Group. Having joined the Company while still in college, he successively worked his way up from the factory floor to roofing crew and on to customer service and sales. His responsibilities include managing Cooley’s strategic relationship with DuPont. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Rhode Island.

  • Vice President & General Manager, Commercial Graphics
  • Successfully working his way up from Cooley’s warehouse operations over a 20-year career with the Company, Bryan brings extensive knowledge and experience in fabrics and textiles, research and development, and sales and product management. He has held several leadership positions including Senior Project Manager, Product Manager and Business Development Manager. His responsibilities include managing Cooley’s strategic relationships with Dow Chemical and HP.

  • Vice President & General Manager, Engineered Membranes & Building Products
  • For over 18 years, David has been successfully driving sales, marketing, and business development initiatives for specialty manufacturing companies such as Monadnock Paper Mills and Avery Dennison. He has a proven track record of expanding business enterprises by building more effective sales teams and collaborating with global brands. At Cooley, David is responsible for overseeing the sales, marketing, and customer service for Cooley’s geomembrane and commercial roofing businesses. David hails from Boston, MA and is a graduate of Harvard University.
  • Alexander “Sandy” Bodell
  • Vice President, Information Technology
  • Sandy has over 30 years of experience in the Information Technology arena. During his time with Cooley, Sandy has been responsible for building the IT infrastructure and has begun the migration of the Company to “cloud”-based services. Prior to joining Cooley, Sandy operated as a business owner and process consultant and worked with Nolan, Norton & Co., Lochridge and DEC. He received his master’s degree in Business Administration in Operations Research from Boston University.
  • Naresh Mehta
  • Director, Research & New Product Development
  • Naresh is an accomplished plastics engineer with vast knowledge of plastic materials and processes. An 11-year Cooley veteran, his deep understanding of polymers and expertise with new product development has been a key component of the Company’s success. Prior to joining Cooley, Naresh spent many years working in India, where he was responsible for creating new products and executing expansion into international markets. Naresh holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Plastics Engineering from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell.
  • Debra Bedrosian, PHR
  • Director, Human Resources
  • Having joined Cooley in 2005, Deb is PHR-certified and has held a variety of positions over the span of her 30-year career. Deb also champions Cooley’s community and charitable outreach programs and spearheads a health and wellness program for its employees. She attended Bryant University and is an active member of the Society for Human Resources Management, the Human Resource Management Association of Rhode Island and past member of the Board of Directors for the Massachusetts Chapter Chamber of Commerce.
  • Jennifer Doyle
  • Director, Global Sourcing
  • Jennifer has worked for several international manufacturers throughout her 20-year career in the decorative and contract textile industry. Jennifer has leadership responsibility for the company’s global sourcing initiative. Most recently, she held various positions at Victor Group and Quaker Fabric Corporation. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science in Textile Technology from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and a Masters in Business Administration from Western New England College.
  • Lance Reed
  • Director, Quality
  • Lance joined Cooley in 2003, bringing over 20 years of experience in the manufacturing of polymeric membranes. He has been a technical resource for all Cooley manufacturing groups, writing over 100 technical papers to educate salespeople and customers alike with respect to Cooley products and their application. Lance is a Senior member of the American Society for Quality (ASQ), past President of the Southern Nevada section of ASQ and holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry.
  • Dan Johansen
  • Director of Sales, Commercial Graphics
  • Dan brings over 20 years of sales and marketing experience in the digital imaging industry, most recently with Eastman Kodak, where he led the management of channel sales responsibilities for their U.S. and Canada markets as their National Sales Manager. An alumni of Dean College, Dan was part of the original team who brought the first wide-format inkjet technology to market in the early 90s. His role at Cooley entails taking leadership responsibility for continuing to manage the growth of Cooley’s Commercial Graphics division in North America.
